This position has responsibility for driving and executing our joint Independent Sales Vendor (ISV) partnerships into the market by leveraging relationships, alliances and marketing activities with our sales team. The candidate will build stronger relationships with our ISV’s and ISV sales team by collaborating and integrating with the market sellers. The business development leader will jointly work with the POWER offering team to build and deploy go-to-market programs that will drive a higher level of engagement with our clients. This role will work with IBM’s POWER brand leaders, product management, offering management, channel teams and market leaders to generate new leads, expedite sales cycles and generate more POWER Systems revenue for IBM.

Key Responsibilities and Goals

- Develop collaborative relationships with identified ISV’s within defined territory
- Link sales teams with ISV’s to drive opportunity identification
- Progress opportunities identified through the collaborative relationships
- Select and prioritize the high-growth and value revenue opportunities
- Participate in and lead cross functional sales and marketing teams
- Select the appropriate offerings with the offering teams that will meet client's business objectives
- Develop client value propositions that clearly identify financial and other business benefits
- Select territory distribution channels for solution delivery, with Territory Partner Management
- Identify and utilize all marketing resources available to help meet territory objectives
- Accountable for total customer satisfaction and market share, IBM revenue and profit
